Dear Georgians,
1I expect that by now most of us would have seen the mail sent by Mr Rambir Sangwan, General Secretary GAD, on the picnic and other events scheduled for Sunday 04 Oct 2015. I write to convey that even as we gather on 04th to enjoy a Sunday outing, more importantly the events of significance are the Prayer Meeting & Hawan, and Blood Donation. The Prayer Meeting is being held for peace of the souls of our colleagues whom we lost in the last few months, some of them in tragic accidents in the prime of their youth, as also for the good health and general well-being of the entire Georgian fraternity.
2May I request indulgence of each and every one of you in the NCR and vicinity to spare the time to join in maximum numbers in the Prayer Meeting being conducted at the RAJ RIF Centre Temple, which is located on the Naraina Road about 2 Kms from Dhaula Kuan, from 1100 hours to 1130 hours. This will be a befitting display of our care and concern for each other. At the end of the Prayer Meeting we will also be presenting a cheque of Rs 3.61 lacs to Ms Rashi, sister of Late Georgian Harsh Choudhury for which the entire Georgian fraternity came forward to donate so very generously.
[content_block id=762 slug=ads1] 3To make the Blood Donation a success, healthy participation by younger Georgians is highly desirable since it is restricted to the 18 to 65 year age group.4We have banked heavily on the RAJ RIF Centre for putting together the event courtesy Lt Gen IS Singha, Colonel of Rajputana Rifles. Blood Donation is being coordinated with Armed Forces Transfusion Centre.
Looking forward to an enthusiastic participation by all Georgians – please do pass the word around to your friends.
Warm regards,
Lt Gen SN Handa (Retd)
President GAD
