Admiral R Hari Kumar CNS visited various Indian Army and IAF units in Belgaum Karnataka.
In a historic first for the Regiment, Admiral R Hari Kumar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of The Naval Staff (CNS), visited the MARATHA Light Infantry Regimental Centre and RMS Belgaum on 19 and 20 April, 2023.
Adm R Hari Kumar CNS visited Belgaum: He was given an overview of the infrastructure and training facilities at Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre and Commando School, Junior Leaders’ Wing. CNS interacted with Agniveer Vayu undergoing trg at IAF Airmen Training School Belagavi. Continuing the outreach with the young students CNS visited the Rashtriya Military School, Belgaum, motivating and inspiring the students to serve the nation with pride and honour. During his visit, CNS also met the Indian Navy Veterans at Kamal Basti and appreciated their role in reaching out to the masses and promoting the Agnipath Scheme and other avenues for the youth of the nation, and highlighted latest initiatives and developments in the Navy.
