The most famous quote inscribed on the front gate of Rashtriya Military School Bengaluru. Lt. Gen Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, AVSM, YSM has truly lived up to its letter and spirit. He firmly stood for his “GEORGIAN” tag, single-handedly doing anything and everything that came under his turf from allocation and release of funds for the betterment of school and welfare of teachers to attending religiously to the genuine concerns of cadets and Georgians. Despite his tight work schedule, he ensured that whatever matter related to the school, its teachers, staff, or Cadets reaches him, gets sufficient time to conclude it.
Call him the “Man at the Forefront” or the “Last Man Standing” he has become an indispensable part of the progress of this school and its fraternity.
- He brought changes in policy which effected the cadets stay in school.
- He played instrumental role in partially getting the QR of administrative officer changed.
General Sanjeev Kumar Sharma has always been open to all the Georgians for any and every genuine issue related to them which included the medical, educational, carrier and what not despite his commitment to his job. - He has been instrumental in finally reviving NCC at all five Rashtriya Military Schools which have been pending since 2013. With a great struggle of 3 years with the guidance from Lt. General S. K. Upadhyay his one class senior and the assistance of his school junior Major General Vinod Nambiar, the NCC issue has come to a conclusion.
- It was General Sanjeev Kumar Sharma‘s efforts which has helped the school to get the Multipurpose Hall gifted by BMRCL (Metro) at its appropriate present location as its previous location was not the apt one.
- The water bills were drastically slashed from Rs. 1800 per month to Rs. 300 per month in turn benefiting all the defense civilians of Bengaluru cantonment with the consistent efforts of the General Officer.
- The Gen Officer has also been instrumental with his classmates General Gopal Gurung and General Ashok Dhingra in pursuing the MACP and 10% residential allowance for teaching staff in all schools which were held up since 2008 and 2016 respectively thereby financially benefiting the teaching staff of all five Rashtriya Military Schools.
Lt. General Sanjeev Kumar Sharma has put in tremendous efforts in release of funds ( 02.5 Crores ) for the accomplishment of necessities in different sectors and above all in the benignant presence of “The Honorable President Of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji” to irradiate the occasion of our Platinum Jubilee Celebration and further it resulted to be an epitome.
After a glorious and intrepid journey of almost four decades, Lt. General Sanjeev Kumar Sharma is finally going to hang his boots on 30th Jun 2022 i.e. today.
