Georgians Rashtriya Military Schools
Nov 19, 2024: As many as 107 young artists from 11 schools showcased their creativity and artistic talent at the Shri Baljeet Singh Memorial Centenary Art Competition, which was hosted by Rashtriya Military School, Chail. The competition was won by RMS, Chail, while Lawrence School, Sanawar, and Pinegrove School were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
The event was conducted by the school to honour the late Baljeet Singh, who taught art at the school.
The competition held two categories – junior (classes VI to IX) and senior (classes X to XII). Each category involved three events such as imaginative composition, poster making, and collage making, and had event-wise choices of topics for different categories. RMS Chail administrative officer Major Kapil Salimath was the chief guest at the event.
