14 students of RMS Ajmer pass out from NDA

Ajmer: As many as 14 students of Rashtriya Military School Ajmer passed out from the 140th course of National Defence Academy at Khadakwasla on May 29.

The Ajmer Rashtriya Military School had the highest number of students in this batch compared to other military schools in the country.

School principal Lt. Colonel Anant Thapan said in the 140th course of NDA, total 27 cadets were from military schools, of which 10 are from Ajmer school, 2 from Bangalore RMS, 3 from Belgaum RMS, 9 from Chail RMS and 3 from Dholpur RMS. In Indian Naval Academy, 3 students of Ajmer RMS, 3 from Bangalore and 1 from Belgaum passed the course. In Officer Training Academy, one each from Ajmer, Dholpur and Bangalore passed the training.

Rashtriya Military School Ajmer Principal – Lt. Colonel Anant Thapan: Lt Col Anant Thapan, Principal, has held Staff & Instructional Assignments that include Instructor tenure at AEC Trg College & Centre Pachmari & Staff Appointment Grade I at the SI IHQ of MoD (Army). Among his regimental employments, the officer has a stint with MADRAS Regiment (MADRAS) in OP RHINO, HELD Grade II appointment in the KUMAON Regimental Centre, Ranikhet. Awarded Special Service Medal for OP RHINO in Assam & OP Suraksha in J&K. Also awarded The High Altitude Medal for his services with 53 Inf Bde in J&K.
